Leverage The Pros Knowledge
I noticed when preparing
for this assignment there is no shortage of people in the space I am looking to
enter. There are literally thousands of motivational speakers and life coaches
within the U.S. alone. With that level of market saturation one must find a way
to separate themselves from or leverage the knowledge of the competition. What
makes market leaders, and their blogs, successful varies. However, I was able
to identify five blogs that align with the vision of my personal brand and flow
in a way that would allow for assimilation into my blog and brand. Each of the
sites I found, listed below, has their at least one strength that could prove
useful to my brand.
The Motivational Humorist
Speaker blog has content that engages serious topics but defuses their consumer
anxiety with humor and it has clearly visible Call To Actions, buttons, within
the site structure that may prove useful in getting engagements booked. The Motivational
Speaker blog uses a setup that links content from what seems to be a network of
likeminded motivational spears. Since my brand focuses on helping youth it
would prove useful to leverage other honest and engaging speakers and their material
because the purpose is to help immediately, recreating content is a waste. The
next blog, Markitors, could be useful as it provides tips on how to identify and
develop good topics and content. The Potter’s House blog shows how to engage social
media and use that information to identify what material to address in the
blog. My final blog reference, Be The Exception, has yet another layer of
engagement that my blog could benefit from which is signups which build inroads
with the customer base. If I can find a way to successfully incorporate and
blend the referenced contributions from the five reference blogs my brand could
fast-track my exposure and impact in a saturated market.
